Clarinetist Emil Jonason is truly one of the Chamber's favorite artists. Here, he offers the best of the best from his musical repertoire, alongside pianist Peter Friis Johansson. Everything is presented in an equally unexpected and exciting program.

As a duo, Emil and Peter have toured together for over 12 years, performing across Sweden and on major stages in Europe. They have been praised in the press for their interpretations of Brahms, Schumann, Debussy, Alban Berg, and others, as well as for innovative concert productions like "Worst of" and "Unrelated Birds," where they incorporated acting, performance, and pressure cookers in performances of music by John Cage, Arvo Pärt, Paquito d’Rivera, and Queen.

With this monumental experience, they now present a brand-new, tailor-made program specifically designed for the Chamber's audience. Welcome to a grand musical encounter in an intimate setting!

We will have the opportunity to hear Emmy Lindström's Four Nocturnes for clarinet and piano (originally written for violin/piano). The music is dreamy and contemplative in various ways but is still held together by thematic threads running through all four movements.
